Pre-nuptial Agreements

A Pre-nuptial Agreement is a contract between two people prior to marriage. It sets out the manner in which assets will be divided in the event of a divorce. In order for Pre-nuptial Agreements to be valid and enforceable, there must be a full disclosure of assets and there must be consideration on both sides. If you need help drafting a Pre-nuptial Agreement or challenging a Pre-nuptial Agreement previously drafted, contact Coleman, Chambers & Rogers, LLP at 770-534-3770.

Post-nuptial Agreements

Post-nuptial Agreements are created after the marriage but should not be entered into in “contemplation of divorce”. Post-nuptial Agreements have to be carefully worded and require the full disclosure of assets. There must be consideration on both sides, if not, the Post-nuptial Agreement could be held invalid. Contact Coleman, Chambers & Rogers, LLP at 770-534-3770 to learn how we can help you draft a valid post-nuptial agreement.
