Mrs. Sarah Richardson Trahan is an associate attorney at Coleman, Chambers, & Rogers, LLP working in the area of Family Law.

Sarah joined the firm in 2018 after completing her Juris Doctorate at The University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, Sarah served as a student mediator for pro se parties in family law cases, and as a research assistant for the adoption law committee with the Alabama Law Institute. Throughout law school, Sarah volunteered her time and services in her community, ultimately earning the Dean’s Community Service Award and the Certificate in Public Interest Law. Sarah also served as the Co-Chair of the Student Bar Association Election Committee.

Sarah has interned with Alabama Legal Services, Greenville Memorial Hospital’s General Counsel Office in Greenville, South Carolina, and the University of Alabama’s Elder Law and Mediation Clinics.

Sarah is an Alabama native, born and raised in Alabaster, Alabama, where she attended Thompson High School. Sarah went on to receive her Bachelors of Arts degree in Advertising, magna cum laude, from The University of Alabama Honors College. During undergrad, Sarah was heavily involved in the University’s School of Music, and played oboe in a variety of symphonic groups.

Sarah moved to Georgia in 2018 and currently lives in Buford, Georgia with her husband and two dogs. When she is not practicing law, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and exploring Northeast Georgia.
